Despite calling Philadelphia, PA. home, Dr. Matthew B. Lutz actually spent most of his youth moving every two to three years.  An "Army brat" born in Germany, Dr. Lutz spent various amounts of time in numerous states and countries, including places such as Hawaii and Belgium.  Dr. Lutz earned his B.S. degree from California University of Pennsylvania where he balanced academics with four years of varsity athletics as a college baseball player.  He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at the Ohio University regional training site at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon, Ohio. 

Dr. Lutz runs a private practice in Cuyahoga Falls and Hudson, Ohio and is currently accepting new patients.  He is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery.  Dr. Lutz is a staff member at SUMMA Health System, Akron General Medical Center, and Akron Children's Medical Center where he specializes in the practice of pedicatric ear, nose, and throat disorders, as well as allergy, sinus, sleep apnea, hearing disorders, balance disorders, facial plastic and resconstructive surgery, thyroid and salivary gland disorders, and speech and swallowing disorders.
